Every Ghana story, from every newsroom

Is it true?

Got a WhatsApp forward, a screenshot caption or a link? Paste it below. Nsɛm24 checks it against every story Ghana's newsrooms have published in the past week, in seconds.

We don't save what you paste. It's only compared with published news, then discarded.

How it works

  1. Reported: one or more of Ghana's newsrooms have published this story. You'll see who reported it and when, with links to each report.
  2. Similar stories: newsrooms have reported something close, but not the same claim. Read them before you believe or forward it.
  3. Not found: no newsroom we follow has reported it in the past week. That doesn't prove it's false, but treat it with care and don't forward it yet.

Signs a forward may be fake

  • It asks you to "forward to everyone" or "share before it's deleted".
  • It promises free money, data or jobs if you click a link.
  • It names no newsroom, date or place, or the photo doesn't match the story.
  • It reports a death, closure or new law that no newsroom is covering.
